Hi, I'm Stephanie!
Door County has always held a special place in my heart. My grandparents came here on their honeymoon in the 1950s and instantly fell in love with everything this peninsula has to offer. Over the years, they purchased several properties here and created a place where our family could gather, slow down, and make lifelong memories.
When they had children, they shared their love for Door County with them. Then, when my generation came along, they did the very same for us. I've been visiting Door County since I was a baby, and it has become my happy place—a place where I can breathe a little deeper, reconnect with nature, and escape the busyness of everyday life. My husband and I got married at Ellison Bay beach in 2022. Some of my favorite childhood and adult memories were made here, and now I have the joy of creating those same memories with my own children and husband.
No matter the season, you'll find me here. Whether it's watching the cherry blossoms bloom in spring, soaking up summer sunsets, admiring the vibrant fall colors, or enjoying the peaceful beauty of winter, Door County has a way of making every visit unforgettable.
One evening, I designed this cherry logo simply for myself because I wanted something that truly represented what Door County means to me. As the design came together, I realized it was more than just a logo—it told my story. To make it even more personal, I incorporated my own photography into the artwork. The northern lights featured in the cherries are from a photo I captured during an unforgettable summer night at Newport State Park in 2025, and the water comes from one of my favorite places, Europe Bay Town Park. Every time I look at this logo, I'm reminded of the beauty and memories that make Door County so special.
That's when Cherry Skies was born.
The name Cherry Skies represents two of Door County's most iconic treasures—the beautiful cherry orchards and the unforgettable skies that stretch over Lake Michigan. From colorful sunrises and glowing sunsets to the breathtaking northern lights dancing above Newport State Park, these moments inspire every design I create.
My hope is that these designs help you carry a little piece of Door County wherever life takes you. Whether you grew up vacationing here, call this beautiful peninsula home, or simply fell in love with it during a visit, I hope my products bring back cherished memories and inspire new adventures of your own.
